Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These terms explain how sessions with Marina Pozzi Wellness LLC work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
This website and the services described on it are operated by Marina Pozzi Wellness LLC, a limited liability company based in New York, New York. Throughout this document, "we", "us", "our" and "the practice" refer to Marina Pozzi Wellness LLC. "You" refers to the person booking or receiving a session.
You can reach us at pozzi.marina18@gmail.com.
2. Services
We offer one-to-one sessions in osteopathy, physical therapy and rehabilitation, therapeutic massage and manual techniques, and private Pilates instruction. Sessions take place at our studio in the Flatiron area of Manhattan, or at your home within New York City.
Every service is delivered privately and individually. We do not run group classes unless a specific workshop or event is advertised as such.
3. Scope of practice and medical disclaimer
This website is not medical advice. The content here is general information about movement, recovery and manual therapy. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for care from a physician or another licensed healthcare provider.
In an emergency, call 911. Do not delay emergency care because of anything you read on this site or discuss in a session.
Our work supports your health, but it does not replace medical treatment. We do not diagnose disease, prescribe medication, or advise you to stop, start or change any treatment prescribed by your doctor. If something we observe suggests you should see a physician, we will tell you and we may decline to continue until you have.
We make no guarantee of a specific outcome. Bodies respond differently, and how quickly you progress depends on many factors outside our control, including your history, your consistency, and conditions you may not be aware of.
4. Booking and confirmation
You can request a session through the form on this website or by email. A request is not a booking. Your session is confirmed only when we reply to you in writing with a date and time.
The free 15-minute consultation is an introductory conversation. It is not a session, not an assessment, and not a diagnosis. Its purpose is to understand what you need and decide together whether and how to start.
Please arrive on time and let us know in advance if anything relevant to your health has changed since your last visit.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and late arrival
Because sessions are one to one and your time is reserved exclusively for you, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Full details are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In short:
- Cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice: no charge.
- Cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice: the session may be charged in full.
- Missed without notice: the session is charged in full.
- If you arrive late, we will use the time remaining. The session still ends at the scheduled time and is charged in full.
We understand that illness, injury and genuine emergencies happen. Tell us as soon as you can and we will do our best to be reasonable.
6. Fees and payment
Current fees are confirmed to you in writing before your first session. Fees may change from time to time; any change is communicated in advance and does not affect sessions already booked and confirmed.
Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due at the time of the session. Prepaid packages, where offered, are subject to the terms confirmed to you at purchase, including any validity period.
In-home sessions may carry a travel supplement depending on location. Any supplement is confirmed to you before booking.
7. Health insurance and referrals
The practice operates on a private, direct-pay basis. You do not need a referral to book with us.
If you intend to seek reimbursement from a health insurer, please note that this is a matter between you and your insurer. Your plan may require a physician's referral or prescription, may only reimburse certain provider types, or may not cover these services at all. We will provide a receipt with the information we reasonably hold, but we cannot guarantee that any claim will be accepted, and payment to us remains due regardless of the outcome of your claim.
Check your coverage before booking, and tell us what documentation you need so we can prepare it in advance.
8. Your health information
You agree to give us accurate and complete information about your health, including injuries, surgeries, diagnoses, medication, allergies and pregnancy, and to tell us promptly if anything changes.
This matters for your safety. Some techniques are not appropriate for certain conditions, and we can only adapt what we know about. If you withhold or misstate relevant information, we may not be able to work safely, and we are not responsible for harm resulting from information we were not given.
We handle everything you tell us confidentially. How we store and use it is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. In-home sessions
For sessions at your home, you agree to provide a space that is clean, safe, adequately lit, and large enough to move in, with no pets, children or other people in the working area during the session unless agreed in advance.
We reserve the right to end a session, without refund, if the environment is unsafe, unsuitable, or if we do not feel comfortable working there.
10. Conduct and safety
Sessions are a professional healthcare and movement setting. Any behaviour that is inappropriate, suggestive, aggressive, discriminatory or intoxicated will end the session immediately, will be charged in full, and may end the working relationship permanently.
You may withdraw consent to any technique at any time, for any reason, without explanation. Tell us and we stop. Equally, we may decline or discontinue treatment where we judge it is not clinically appropriate or not safe.
11. Minors
Clients under 18 may be seen only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must remain present for the duration of the session. This website is not intended for use by children.
12. Use of this website
The text, design, photographs and other content on this site are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, or reuse the content commercially without our written permission.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at all times. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or connected to the services or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the session or sessions to which the claim relates.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income or opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Manual therapy and exercise carry inherent risks, including temporary soreness, bruising, fatigue and, rarely, aggravation of an existing condition. By participating, you accept these ordinary risks.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you book is the version that applies to that booking. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
16. Contact
